The countdown to Christmas will soon be on with many of us starting to plan what can seem like a logistical nightmare of arrangements for the children.

There is even more than usual to think about in December when it comes to Christmas plays, visits to Santa and when the children will stay with or see each of their parents.

Christmas can be a challenging time for separated parents 

We offer a free callback during which we can discuss the arrangements to be put in place for the children during the school holidays and / or over the key Christmas dates.

We will look at any proposals that you and the child’s other parent have made and suggest solutions as to how the children’s time can be spent between you both. There is no time limit on our initial consultation, unlike the service provided by many other firms and we will therefore have plenty of time to discuss any concerns that you have.

We will advise you as to the methods in which communication can take place with the child’s other parent in the hope that a voluntary agreement can be reached between you.

For example, we can consider attendance at mediation or negotiation within solicitors’ correspondence. We can also advise you as to the process in applying for a Child Arrangements Order if an agreement cannot be reached on a voluntary basis.
